Characterizing thin-films
• UV-visible spectroscopy
UV-visible spectroscopy is employed to measure the absorbance of our films and anything in the pores of these materials. It also allows one to determine the band gap of our semi-conducting films. Since our films are optically transparent, one can easily examine these materials on glass and conductivity glass - indium tin oxide (ITO) substrates.
