Synthesis of materials
• Coating of surfaces
After a stabile suspension is produced, we have a variety of options for coating substrates We have coated metals, glasses, plastics, wood, and ceramics. Porous and non-porous substrates can be used. Coatings can either be applied by: spraying, spin casting, dip-coating, electrodeposition, or slip casting. Typical film thickness is less than 0.5 microns. Thin-films reduce problems related to cracking as well as the transport of electron, protons and other chemical species moving through these porous materials.
